The Wisconsin Paper Council, currently representing 21 regular member firms, has been in existence since 1950.

The Wisconsin Paper Council

The Wisconsin Paper Council is the trade association representing the pulp, paper and allied industry.

With offices in Neenah, the Council represents its members in public affairs and public relations matters, serves as a center for the exchange of ideas, and disseminates information concerning the industry.

If coming from the north, exit Highway 41 at Winchester Road (Exit 133). Turn left on Winchester Road. Take the first right onto Green Bay Road. Proceed about 1/2 mile, and the Wisconsin Paper Council will be on your right.

If coming from the south, exit Highway 41 at Main Street (Exit 132). At Green Bay Road, turn left. Proceed about 1/2 mile, and the Wisconsin Paper Council will be on your left.

Earl Gustafson is responsible for administering the WPC's involvement in energy, forestry and unemployment compensation issues impacting the state's pulp and paper industry, as well as developing and administering special projects designed to protect and promote the industry.

Scott Rice is responsible for many of the communications and public relations efforts of the WPC, including this web site. Rice has a background in chamber of commerce and college public relations.
